2026 Medical, Surgical, & Dental Mission
Siaya County, Kenya
In 2026, we will conduct our 4th medical mission in partnership with Matibabu Hospital in Ukwala, Ugenya, Siaya County, Kenya. We will depart from New York on October 18th.
The mission will provide medical, dental, and surgical care to underserved communities with limited access to timely treatment. Services will include primary care, dental care, and eye care, including cataract surgeries.
Targeted surgical services will include general surgery (hernia repairs, thyroidectomies, excision of lumps and masses, circumcisions), minor procedures, gynecologic procedures, and select orthopedic cases.
Our team will work alongside local providers to deliver care while supporting continuity for patients beyond the mission period.
A key component of this mission is training. We will engage with local clinicians, nurses, and students through hands-on teaching and knowledge exchange to help strengthen local capacity.
This mission is built on partnership. By working with Matibabu Hospital, we aim to support existing systems while expanding access to essential care where it is most needed.
Following the mission, the team will participate in a two-night safari experience as a time to rest, reflect, and build deeper connections before returning home.
